Long Description
This collection brings together art historians and historians of science to investigate theories on light and color, as well as the role played by optics in certain disciplines, such as magic, astrology or alchemy. Studies bring forward the interaction between perspective, theories of light and color, ocular anatomy and the physiology of vision, magic, astrology, alchemy and the arts. The extended time period addressed allows for a better understanding of continuities and departures over time. French text.
