general note
"This is a most interesting and curious book of plans and impositions, giving also figures of a Press and all [of] a Printer's working tools, by the use of brass-rule and types only, with great skill; the whole being composed in leisure-time and holidays. The author was a compositor in the "Widmanstetterischen Druckerey," and finished his schemes of imposition in 1670 ... "--Bigmore and Wyman.
