Issued originally in 96 parts of five folio signatures apiece, from 29 Sept. 1781 to 24 May 1783.
Maps engraved by J. Cary.
Of the 32 views, three of the plates were designed and engraved by William Blake; two of the plates were engraved by J. Parker, William Blake's partner. Other engravers include F. Cary, Terry, Wooding, and J. Tookey.
