Bound in blind-stamped faded dark green cloth, as issued.
Includes 10 plates designed by Flaxman, 10 plates designed by Fuseli, 15 plates designed by Hogarth and 9 plates designed by Stothard.
The majority of plates are engraved by Louis Marie Normand. A number of plates are engraved by Reveil, Rouargue or Beyer.
The volumes are unpaged but there are numbers at the bottom right suggesting the work was issued in Numbers and reassembled in alphabetical order by the binder. Cf. Bentley.
Volume 1 includes 2 plates designed by William Blake.
