Colour plates are unsigned but with imprints: "J. M. Kronheim & Co." and "London". All are with captions and printed within grey-brown borders.
Eight colour prints have following caption titles: Roses; Loch Ness; Humming birds; Fruit; Lilies; Falls of Niagara; Musicians of the grove; The Victoria Regia.
Plates are colour wood engravings produced using the "Baxter Process", with areas and lines that are printed with an intaglio metal plate.
Title-page printed within black rule border.
