Volume II continues with elegiac poetry of the fourth century: Plato, Simmias, Praxiteles, Parrhasius, Zeuxis, Thucydides?, Apollodorus, Dionysius II of Syracuse, Mamercus, Astydamas, Philiscus, Aphareus, Speusippus, Aristotle, Crates (elegiacs, epic, iambi, tragedies), Castorion, Cleon, Theocritus of Chios, Menander, Panarches. Here too is iambic poetry of Archilochus (more than 200 fragments), Semonides of Amorgos (more than 40 fragments, one a poem of 118 lines), Hermippus, and Scythinus; and anonymous poetry (epigraphic) in hexameters, elegiacs, iambics, trochaics.
