Fisher stc copy 1: Initial and final blank wanting. The four final pages are in the later state with both "Faults escaped" and "Errata" page. Copy 1 has other evidence of cancels (see STC) with "mas" as catchword on *1r, 7 leaves in Quire B, "vvas" as last word on E2r line 2, "peny" on I7r line 3 and "wife" on Z7r, line 2; however, H1r is in the uncorrected state with a Duke's coronet above the first shield. Bookdealer's printed description with price on inner paste board. Marginalia. MS. notes, mainly genealogical, found throughout. Calf two-line panel binding (gilt); three-line panel back (gilt) with red label stamped with author surname and short title (gilt) pasted on.

Copy 2 is in the original state (see STC) with "I" as catchword on *1r, 6 leaves in Quire B, "was" as last word on E2r line 2, "penny" on I7r line 3 and "Wife" on Z7r, line 2; however, H1r is in the corrected state with the cancel slip of an earl's coronet above the first shield.
