This issue opens with the story of Maria Bernadette and manifestation of Mary at Lourdes, France (1858), followed by letters/announcements from Fr. Jerome and St. Benedict’s Mission, from Standing Rock. This is followed by a note about a teaching of Jesus, and letters from North and South Dakota missions/readers. There is also news of April storms in Grand Forks, and a flooding of Cannon Ball River. There is a section titled “Angelus Domini”, followed by a short paragraph from Fr. Jerome on illnesses going around. This issue also contains a “Supplement” from Our School Children’s Department, starting with “Mary’s Month” and continued with “I will be a Saint”, “The Sign of the Cross”, “St. Bernard’s Inspiration”, “Wearing Mary’s Medal”, and “Schoolmaster and Scholar”.
