abstract
The reconstruction of the recently discovered dinosaur called the Pachyrhinosaurus canadensis is traced from initial discovery of fossil remains through excavation, preparation and study towards the goal of reconstruction and display at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller, Alberta. Three-dimensional model animation shows how the animal lived and utlimately died. Features interviews with paleontologists Phillip Currie, Dale A. Russell, Robert Bakker and Jack Horner.
